Retreats at Cortijo Carranque

The founding vision for Cortijo Carranque was to set up a SAFE HAVEN; a place where people could step aside from the relentless pressures of everyday life and find the space to receive from The Lord, and find renewed vision and inspiration for their lives.

The tranquil setting in the midst of the Andalucían countryside, the beautiful surroundings, the private stone chapel, and a real sense of God at work in this place, make Cortijo Carranque a very special location for:

Ministry Respite breaks

We offer both short and longer breaks for people in Christian ministry who are exhausted from ministering to the needs of others.  Cortijo Carranque has been set up to provide a refuge where you can find refreshment, rest, and some space in which to gain a fresh perspective on your life and a new sense of purpose. Respite Breaks are normally full board, but can be self-catering, B&B or half-board if preferred.

Private retreats, Alpha Weekends and Away Days

We can accommodate up to 30 day visitors, or 22 residential guests in 12 rooms.  Facilities include use of the chapel, cloisters, swimming pool, gardens and BBQ.  Bookings can be on a self-catering basis, or a catering service can be provided if required.

Ministry Team or Small Group Holidays

Cortijo Carranque provides a unique venue in which to holiday together in a Christian setting.  Here both young and old alike seem to relax and chill out.  The area offers plenty to see and do, but most visitors seem to be happy to just enjoy "being" in such a lovely place. 
Holidays are normally on a self-catering basis.

Our seasonal "Quiet Days" are designed to give normally busy people a chance to take time out, and spend a day drawing close to and receiving from The Lord.  Lunch and refreshments included
