The House

This old Andalucían manor house, parts of which it is said date back 400 years, has been lovingly restored to combine the beauty of the original stonework with all the comfort and convenience of modern living. 

The Cloisters

The magnificent arched Moorish-style cloisters provide a stunning space in which to hold your wedding reception. We can accommodate up to 100 guests for a seated banquet, or buffet meal, with space for dancing the night away.

The chapel

the lovely private chapel with licensed Anglican chaplain means you can have your Wedding Ceremony or Blessing and reception all at the same venue. The chapel can seat up to 30, or accommodate 20 seated and another 20 to 30 standing.

Overnight Accommodation

Cortijo Carranque also offers overnight accommodation for your family and close friends.  We have a total of 12 rooms, sleeping up to 22 people, plus cots or folding beds for children.  Guests are welcome to enjoy the swimming pool, gardens and other facilities.  Wedding guests have been known to stay on for a holiday once here!

The Extras

All equipment hire, decorations and catering can be arranged through local contacts if required.  A variety of local artists are available to provide your evening entertainment, and local photographer Lorraine Kingham can provide you with a souvenir album of your big day.
